Kilroy Realty Corporation Adds New Tenants To 3130 Wilshire Building

LOS ANGELES – Kilroy Realty Corporation (NYSE: KRC) today

announced that two architectural firms have signed lease agreements at the 3130 Wilshire building in Santa Monica, Calif., joining a list of other prominent professional services companies already in the building.

Widom, Wein, Cohen, O'Leary & Terasawa (WWCOT) has signed a 10-year lease for approximately 15,300 square feet of space, occupying the entire top floor of the six-story office building. The firm provides architecture, renovation, seismic, retrofitting and design including base isolation, space planning, interior design, and master planning services to clients all over California and the Western States. Tenant improvements are currently underway. WWCOT is scheduled to move into the building July 1999.

Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum, Inc., Architects (HOK) has leased approximately 5,800 square feet of space on the ground floor of the building. HOK Architects is a full-service design organization with more than 40 years of experience. The company's practice includes comprehensive architectural, engineering and interior services as well as services in a wide range of related disciplines from facilities consulting to development of master plans. HOK Architects occupied the offices in March 1999.

Kilroy Realty Corporation is a Southern California-based real estate investment trust active in the commercial office and industrial property sectors. Principal submarkets for the company's development projects include San Diego, Los Angeles, Long Beach and Orange County where the company has a development pipeline exceeding $500 million. At March 31, 1999, the company owned 5.7 million square feet of commercial office space and 6.2 million square feet of industrial space.
